Front End Engineer
Home
I'm a skilled developer with six years of exploring how thoughtful interfaces can elevate digital experiences. I enjoy the challenge of building things that are both functional and genuinely satisfying for users.
Front-end development has always been at the core of my work. It's the area I keep coming back to—whether through projects, collaborations, or simply experimenting to learn and grow.
This portfolio brings together my projects, design approach, and ongoing growth as a developer — a place to share what I've built and how I think.
Outside of code, you can find me reading, cooking, golfing, saving Hyrule, or hanging out with my girlfriend and our two spoiled corgis.
Experience
Data Engineer @ General Motors
2021 - 2023
I contributed to rewriting a cost forecasting app during a major platform migration, helping improve scalability, automate key workflows, and fine-tune system performance along the way.
Software Developer, Front-end @ General Motors
2019 - 2020
I led the shift to a modern frontend approach for a B2B eCommerce app, improving team practices and contributing to a redesign that boosted user engagement by 30%.
Front-End Developer @ University of Texas at El Paso
2016 - 2019
This was my first real dive into frontend development—building internal tools that streamlined funding workflows, nearly doubled efficiency, and taught me how to blend design with function in a fast-moving team environment.

Repo
A work-in-progress appointment management app designed for tattoo artists and stylists, providing a streamlined way to review client requests, quickly assess messages, and efficiently accept or deny appointments.
Identicon
Repo
A small Elixir project that creates Identicons based off a string input. I used it to create the images for each of the projects on this portfolio.
Let's Build Something Together
I enjoy working with other developers and helping people bring their ideas to life — whether it's building something from the ground up or improving what's already there. I'm also open to freelance work if you need a hand creating a site that looks great and feels even better to use.
If you've got an idea or need some extra help, feel free to reach out — I'd be happy to connect.
